1.1 描述過去某一刻「正在做」
你想表達：某個時間點，動作進行中。
- At 8 p.m. yesterday, I was studying.
- This time last week, they were travelling in Japan.
常見時間提示詞：
- at 7 p.m., at that moment, this time yesterday/last week, when + 另一件事發生
1.2 做「背景動作」，襯托另一件事
最典型考法：一個長動作（背景）＋一個短動作（打斷）。
- I was doing my homework when the phone rang.（做功課進行中，突然電話響）
2. Past Continuous Tense 公式及基本句型
過去進行式核心就係：
was / were + V‑ing。
