Add 1 cm' of the peanut extract to a test tube. Add an equal volume of Benedict's
solution.
Boil the mixture in a boiling water bath for five minutes.

If the peanut extract contains reducing sugars, a brick-red precipitate is formed.
Otherwise, no brick-red precipitate is formed and the mixture remains blue in colour.
